As Muslims across the globe commence the 2019 Ramadan fast, the Managing Director of ADEDAS GLOBAL SERVICES, Honorable Prince Dauda Adedipe Ewenla has admonished Muslim Ummah (Community) in the State to take advantage of the holy month to pray for sustained peace and progress of the State and the nation.
Hon. Prince Adedipe Dauda Ewenla, in a statement signed yesterday encouraged the Muslim faithful to reflect on the essence of the holy month in which Quran was bequeathed to mankind and take full advantage of the holy month for renewed faith towards more spiritual upliftment.
“It is time for people to renew their faith to foster a strong sense of peaceful coexistence, pray more for the nation and welcome people of all faiths to strengthen their togetherness, the Speaker counseled.
He charged them to continue to promote peace, righteousness, togetherness, brotherliness and good neighbourliness which were parts of the tenets of Islam as preached by the holy prophet Muhammad.
He stressed the need for Muslims to always lead by example through promotion of love and kindness, underscored the importance of peaceful coexistence among different faiths in national development.
