The Coronavirus pandemic is now uniting Nigerians political bigwigs together, this can be seen in a message sent by Nigeria former Vice president Atiku Abubakar who reacted to President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff Abba Kyari testing positive for coronavirus.
Multiple media reports on Tuesday alleged that Kyari tested positive several days after returning from an official trip to Germany.
However Atiku Abubakar has sent a message via his twitter handle to Abba Kyari the message reads :
“My thoughts and prayers are with Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari,”
Meanwhile, the reports said Kyari was tested on Saturday based on medical advice, although he was not exhibiting any symptoms.
The result, however, came back on Monday positive and he has since gone into isolation even though the symptoms are yet to manifest.
President Buhari who also run the test but he was negative.
As part of Covid-19 unity among Nigerian politicians, remember that Nigeria’s First Lady Aisha Buhari has taken to her official Twitter handle to also react to the news that the son of former vice president Atiku Abubakar has tested positive for coronavirus.
Reacting to the news, Mrs Buhari wished the son a quick recovery.Few days ago, Aisha announced that her daughter has self-isolated over fear of coronavirus after returning back into the country from the UK.
“Your Excellency, It’s with deep sense of concern that I extend my sincere prayers towards the quick recovery of your dear son. Allah renu en Amin.”
The confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria have risen to 40 out of which 2 have been discharged and one death recorded.
