Dapo Abiodun Will Return Life To Our LGAs – Akinlade

Succour beams for the comatose state of local government areas, LGA in Ogun state as a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Akinlade Isiaq Abiodun had assured that the Governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR would ensure LGA administration would not be stifled like it is under the outgoing government of Gov. Ibikunle Amosun.

Akinlade, who served in the National Assembly for 12 years, during the commissioning of an ultra modern hall in Ijofin, Ipokia local government that was named after the town’s monarch expressed confidence that the incoming government of Prince Dapo Abiodun would return the lost glory of local government administration in the State.

“The Oba Moruf Awode Hall, that we are here to commission today, is a gift to a monarch that has always stand by the people. More so, it is to appreciate our monarch and give deserving respect to the traditional institutions. I can assure you that upon inauguration, the government of Dapo Abiodun shall return the lost glory of our councils and they will run their affairs as they ought to”

Akinlade who was the Deputy Director General of the Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organization in the last election, also promise to continue to stand by the people in all his political moves.

“I have remained commitment to the development of our land, and our people will continue to enjoy the large part of my heart”, the erstwhile Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Committee on Science & Technology enthused.

The hall which was named after the Ololo of Ijofin, Oba Moruf Awode was commissioned by the Governor-elect of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR who was represented by Sen. Gbenga Obadara.

The governor-elect also emphasized that his administration will be people-centred

“We will make sure we run an inclusive government, continue to remember us in your prayers. But, I can tell you that we won’t neglect the grassroots. Our government shall continually be in touch with people. We have seen the state of infrastructure here, we shall commit ourselves to immediately resuscitation of all the dilapidated roads”, Obadara who represented Abiodun reassures.
