A university of Lagos staff based in Lagos state, Mrs Abosede Adeleke was rescued in an attempt kidnapped on the 30th of August 2019 along the Oshodi express way.
After been rescued by the help of Vigilante on duty around the area ,the 60 year old Mrs Adeleke narrated how she and her daughter (Mrs Oladejo Yetunde Adeleke) and her grand daughter (Ebehiremen Ahianba) has been living in fear since 2017.
Mrs Abosede who suspected that her kidnap was due to an on going issue and wants the security agencies to come to her family’s aide from been tortured and killed by a cultist and prominent politician (Name Withheld) who happens to be her daughter’s estranged partner sometimes in 2017 and has been threatening the entire family especially herself and her grand daughter.
Mrs Abosede told reporters on her recovery bed at the Lagos state general hospital about her ordeal since 2017, how some unknown heavily armed men berged into her house on the 14th of October 2017 asking for the whereabout of her daughter and grandchild which at the end result to her sustaining a grievous wounds with her sister’s son who came visiting at the period the event took place.
This in turn raised Mrs Adeleke’s fear of loosing her daughter and grand child if they were both eventually found.
She lastly gave details of what truly transpired between the politician( Name Withheld) and her daughter which is how her daughter discovered some exhibits of different types and some incriminating items in their house in Ajao Estate isolo Lagos.
She claimed her daughter immediately did the needful by reporting the incident to the police which has been the major issue amongst the various domestic violence, torture, rape, abuse, physical and emotional trauma her daughter went through while in the relationship.
My daughter and I had been living in fear since the discovery in 2017 , she further explained in tears.
She told the reporters about what brought her currently to the hospital which is how she was abducted in a van on her way to work on the 30th of August 2019 and was later pushed down from the moving van when the abductors realized they were been followed by another van which happens to the the Vigilantes on duty in the area.
Mrs Abosede was pushed out of the moving van immediately the abductors realized they were been followed by another buss.
The 60 years old Mrs Abosede passed out immediately she was pushed down from the moving van and was later resuscitated at the general hospital.
Mrs Adeleke told reporters that the only thing she could remember was how she was been questioned of the whereabout of her daughter and grand daughter before she was pushed out of the Moving van.
Mr Abdulaziz who is the head of the vigilante on duty in the area on the said day further gave details of the abduction after been interviewed by reporters.
Mr Abdulaziz said they noticed a van parked under the oshodi bridge for almost one hour and noticed that the abductors lunched attack on sighting Mrs Adeleke at about 6:45am on the 30th of August 2019.
Mr Abdulaziz who immediately radio his colleagues about the situation followed the van immediately after realizing what was going on and rescued Mrs Adeleke after been pushed out of the van.
The case has since been reported to the police and currently undergoing some investigations since the report has been made.
