GMO Hails Dapo Abiodun’s Economic Transition Committee, Says “Unity Is Gradually Returning To Ogun State”

The constitution of a 23 man economic transition committee by the Ogun state’s Governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR has been hailed and commended by the Gateway Media Organization, GMO.

Abiodun had through his spokesperson, Hon. Remmy Hazzan on Friday released a 23-man economic transition committee headed by former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mr. Tunde Lemo.

In a short statement sent to journalists early this morning, Omooba Damilare Oloyede; coordinator of the group expressed optimisms that unity and inclusiveness has returned to governance in the State.

” We love to commend the Governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR on his constitution of this highly powered economic transition committee, the committee parades men and women of brilliant competence, those knowledgeable about the economic challenges of our state and various political interests were ably accommodated. No doubt, one can conclude that enmity in politics is being bided farewell in Ogun state, unity of purpose is now the path to tow and government of inclusiveness is hereby berthed”

Applauding the move to get a team to draw up an economic blueprint ahead of the May 29 inauguration of the new government, GMO said:

“Instead of noise making with the usual transition team, the Dapo Abiodun team has shown rare seriousness by assembling an economic transition committee to prepare a blueprint, it is worthy of note that this is a sign of good thing to expect from the government. We can only enjoin citizens and residents of Ogun state to join hands to ensure unity and inclusiveness return to governance in our dear State.”
