The Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, says he has delivered on all the promises he made during his electioneering.
He said the feat was due to his determination to address the day-to-day concern of the people of the state.
According to a statement, the governor spoke while addressing the Peoples Democratic Party youths in Akure on Friday.
He said the impacts had been made in all sectors of the state economy, including health, education, agriculture and infrastructure, among others.
Mimiko added that his administration had been receiving positive comments due to his success in creating jobs for the youth through agriculture, citing the establishment of a chicken processing plant, the cocoa revolution scheme and the cassava farm projects in the state.
Mimiko said, “I will work for you” spurred him to deliver on his promises. “I can say with clear conscience that we have been able to impact our people positively,” he said.
The governor added that under his administration, the state received endorsements from the World Bank, the United Nations, the Nigeria Union of Journalists and the Labour Congress, among others.
