In search for good representation in federal house of representatives Ikeja constituency, some group of youths have came together to present nomination form to Barr. Toke Benson, the deputy legal adviser in Lagos state chapter of APC to contest for the seat.

While speaking with the leader of the group Mr Olayiwola Abimbola, he said Ikeja has not been properly represented in the past 7 years and as such, there is need for a change and group of youths within the constituency came together to approach her sometimes ago and she eventually agreed.

In our quest to wrestle power from bad representation was the reason why we present the form to her as our own contribution to go ahead and build Ikeja of our own, he said.

Toke Benson with 30 years of experience as a lawyer was very happy to feel the spirit of Ikeja youths that are clamouring for good representation in the green house and she promised to make sure that Ikeja constituency will be rated among the best very soon.

In another development, Mrs Oshodi on behalf of Hon. Toke Benson organised a free medical check-Up for the people of Agidingbi area in Ikeja which took place at Omole on Saturday.

Barr. Toke Benson also use that opportunity to meet with APC members in that axis to discuss about the task bestowed on her by Ikeja youths and how they can help her to achieve it.

Also on Saturday she was on TVC 4pm news to talk about the price of
nomination forms under the ruling party APC which some class of people believe is expensive.

Reacting to it, she said the money is not expensive, for anybody to come out and contest then he or she must be financially upright to meet up with the party procedures in terms of finances.

Furthermore, if you really have the interest of the people in mind you wont mind to go to any length to offer your selfless service, she said.

‘It will be unfair on my party to say I cant raise 3.5m to buy the form after working for 30years as legal practitioner.

What is unfortunate in Toke’s case is that she is enjoying massive support from Ikeja youths because they want her to rescue them from the hand of clueless, self centered leaders who has know plans for Ikeja but instead building personal empire Without any good impacts in the lives of the electorates.
