Sanwo-Olu’s Goodies For Ikorodu LG
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently visited Ikorodu local government to commission some of the projects implemented by his administration. The impactful governor commissioned Itamaga -Ijede road connecting 35 communities and four local government/LCDA after 17 months of flagging off the project.
Even the COVID-19 pandemic could not stop Sanwo-Olu from delivering dividends of democracy to Lagosians. Three other major roads are ongoing in Ikorodu division while the current administration has intensified efforts to complete Ikorodu Jetty to reduce road traffic. The humane Sanwo-Eko paid N500million compensation to properties owner affected by massive infrastructural development in the zone.
In addition, the current administration built Fire Service Station and Police Divisional Office to service Ikorodu residents. He also promised to give Lagos roundabout a facelift in order to allow free flow of traffic and pave way for BRT extension to the route.
Ikorodu indigenes and residents are happy with Sanwo-Olu’s performance. #ForagreaterLagos is not a mirage, it’s the reality of Centre of Excellence under the current administration.
