Two of the brightest brains in Sanwoolu’s cabinet are Barrister Tokunbo Wahab and Hon. (Mrs) Toke Benson-Awoyinka.
This in no way denigrates other members of the cabinet but my deep interactions with both characters revealed an esoteric level of brilliance uncommon with government political appointees, this are the words that came out from President TeamNigeria4Change Chief Bestman Nze after he paid a courtesy visit to the duo last week at Lagos Alausa secretariat.
Speaking on Tokunbo Wahab who happens to be the Special Adviser on Education to the Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, he said his ideas are so contemporary that you would marvel at the depth of his understanding of the Educational sector and what need to be done to elevate the falling standard of Education in Nigeria in general and Lagos in particular. He is so scientific and digital in his approach to issues as it concerns the Educational sector in Lagos. On full implementation of his plans the learning atmosphere will be so conducive and peaceful in institutions of learning in Lagos State.
In his reaction, he said the housing sector in Lagos State is undergoing a positive revolution as a result of the dynamism of Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka the Special Adviser on Housing to the Governor.
Furthermore, Chief Nze revealed that listening to Hon. Awoyinka’s leaves, you will have the conviction that Housing and its processes in Lagos in no distant time would conform to international best standards. Her plans to ensure Lagosians embraced international best practices in matters of Housing is commendable.
She is presently taking an audit of Housing Agents in Lagos to get them effectively monitored to function optimally and within acceptable framework.
It’s time for us to begin an audit of the people saddled with leadership positions across parties and states.
This series will bring alive brilliant minds doing exploits quietly but hitherto not celebrated in our political and leadership space, Bestman said.
Hon. Tokunbo Wahab is from Epe while Hon. Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka is from Ikeja constituency.
