The four fresh coronavirus cases recorded by the NCDC, means that the number of cases of coronavirus in Nigeria has risen from one hundred and eleven (131) to one hundred and thirty-one (135).
The NCDC tweeted: “Four cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 3 in Osun, 1 in Ogun State As at 11:01 am 31st March there are 135 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 2 deaths.
Meanwhile, Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, southwest Nigeria was tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) yesterday.
The Oyo State Governor announced his coronavirus status in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, March 30.
“I just received my COVID-19 confirmation test result. It is POSITIVE. I am asymptomatic and will continue to self-isolate.
“I have designated Prof Temitope Alonge, former Chief Medical Director of the University College, Ibadan, as the Head of COVID-19 Task Force while I recover fully. Please continue to comply with all the directives from the COVID-19 Task Force. Stay home, stay safe,” Governor Makinde tweeted.
