Pest Control Association of Nigeria ‘PECAN’, the professional organisation of individuals and businesses engaged in the business of pest and rodents control in Nigeria has unveiled plans to celebrate its 30years anniversary.
This was made known at a media conference held at the national secretariat of the association on Wednesday.
Speaking with the president Mr Kunle Williams, revealed that the association in the past, during the world malaria day partnered with Rotary club, Vanguard newspaper to share mosquito net to those is suburb areas.
He also talked about the use of IRS ‘Indoor Residual Spray’ which they use to spray canal and walls to prevent mosquito.
The president also commends Federal Government and Lagos State Government for their supportive role on pest control.
Furthermore, he used the opportunity to invite private body to support them during the celebration of the 30years anniversary so they can do more to those in rural areas.
