Senator Ajadi Commends Oshatimehin For Distributing Sallah Package In Kwara LG


The former Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon Adenike Harriet Afolabi Oshatimehin has distributed bags of rice to 18 wards in Ifelodun local government for Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Our Correspondent reports that the representatives from each ward came and collected the bags of rice for onward distribution at the grassroots.

Senator Makanjuola Ajadi in his opening remarks appreciated the donor, Hon Adenike Harriet Afolabi Oshatimehin for her kind gestures towards the people of ifelodun and the entire Kwarans at large.

Hon Olu Ajisafe who represented the Ifelodun TIC chairman (Hon Jide Asonibare) expressed delight about Ora born politician to the welfarism of her constituents and local government at heart.

“I thought the packages would just be quite handy and surprisingly what I see here beats my imagination” He noted.
He went further that Hon. Adenike is a bridge builder. The gesture and mode of distribution is a step towards resolving the lingering crisis among the APC members in Ifelodun LGA.

Speaking on the benefiting wards, Hon Fatai Garuba (former Chairman Ifelodun local government) acknowledged the gifts and prayed fervently that God replenishes the purse of the donor. That the volume of the gifts worth calling ward meeting upon before sharing.

Harriet in her brief speech said “ I really want to just use these token to appreciate our people and the stakeholders of our great local government for their steadfastness and commitment to making the local government and the state great. I cannot really quantify their efforts as only God can pay back everyone for their immense support. I just want these bags of rice to go round the local government in celebration of the Eid al-Adha and I promise to always reach out more even to the nooks and crannies of Ifelodun and kwara state at large “

The former commissioner also wishes muslim in Kwara state a hitch free celebration.
