Still On Peoples Response on Akwa Ibom Stadium.

The problem with Nigeria is that we like grandiose gestures, statements or projects usually helps us disguise our lack of/poor thinking. We have the Abuja Stadium rotting away, the Teslim Balogun is hardly use. National Stadium is an eyesore.Solution? Build another one in Uyo! A simple cost benefit analysis will show clearly that a stadium-however world class it is- in Uyo is unnecessary.  But what do I know? The stadium is good. But how many jobless youths are in Akwa Ibom state? Could the money used in construction have birthed an industry?
As long as we are ONE NATION, injury to ONE part should cause pain for ALL.It’s a sad reflection on our country that we dance at every opportunity, and avoid issues that force us to face our humanity….Akwa Ibom is celebrating while some other parts of Nigeria are burning. And as usual our President is celebrating. What a country! Tycoon.

There is time for everything in life… Time to celebrate, time to cry, time eat, time to sleep. Don’t be found wanting wen u find ursef in any of d occasion. In spite of d many crisis in d world, wen opportunities likely to ease us of d pain n suffering shows up, plz take it wit ur all. Bless.Grant

Sports bring people together. If Akwa-Ibom is celebrating, I would rather celebrate with them than join some selfish fellows who mean no well than killing innocent Nigerians in reigning abuses to our Great Nation. Let more stadiums be build even in troubled region. Maybe we need the unity through sports activities. Catherine
