Manchester United and Inter Milan have reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Alexis Sanchez.
There will not be an option for the Italian club to buy Sanchez as part of the deal, which will last 10 months.
The Chilean has endured a nightmare spell at Old Trafford since arriving from Arsenal as part of a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January 2018.
He has scored just five times for the Red Devils and has fallen down the pecking order under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian prefers Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in forward positions, with youngster Mason Greenwood also getting increased game time.
And Sanchez will now leave the club for 10 months at least as he bids to kickstart his career in Serie A.
Sanchez joins former United teammate Romelu Lukaku at Inter, who are coached by ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
Lukaku made a scoring debut for the Nerazzurri in their thumping 4-0 win over Lecce on Monday night to go top of the Italian top flight after one game.
Sanchez has failed to make the matchday squad for any of United’s first three Premier League games of the season.
In all, Sanchez has played 45 times for United, reports mirror.co.uk.
